2. Why are you asking me about my medical conditions?

We ask about your medical history because it affects your cover in a number of ways. If you need emergency treatment abroad, we need to understand your health to make sure the right cover is in place. If you need to cancel or cut your trip short because of illness, your medical history is relevant there too. Being upfront about your health from the start means there’s less chance of a problem if you need to make a claim.
