Will you take money off my settlement for wear and tear?

No. Your cover is new for old, so we don’t take anything off for the age or condition of an item. If your claim is valid, we’ll base the settlement on what it costs to replace the item with an equivalent new one, up to the single item limit and the overall limit for your level of cover.
